What features would help you better analyze your stock portfolio with SEC data?

About TradeApes

TradeApes scores every US-listed company from its SEC filings: a 0–100 health score across five pillars (financial strength, operating trend, relative value, capital allocation, risk) and a valuation verdict of Undervalued, Fair Value, Overvalued or Inconclusive from a DCF and peer-multiple model that only publishes a fair value when its methods agree.

Connect it and Claude can answer "Is Deere undervalued, and why?", "Which Healthcare stocks score highest this week?", "Compare NVDA, AMD and INTC", or "Read me the TradeApes analysis of Amazon", with live numbers and a link to the source card in every answer.

Six read-only tools: get_score_card, get_valuation, rank_sector, list_sectors, search_tickers, get_analysis. No account, no API key, nothing writes or trades. Endpoint: https://www.tradeapes.com/mcp. Docs: https://www.tradeapes.com/developers/mcp.

TradeApes is a research tool, not investment advice.

How it was built with Claude

The MCP server, its docs page and the registry publishing were built with Claude Code over about a day, on top of a Rails app that had already been built and refined with Claude Code over the past year. Claude also writes the per-company analysis articles the get_analysis tool serves, from the engine's own output and SEC-filing fundamentals, through a prompt that is validated against a fixed set of companies before any change ships, with automatic post-checks that block an article from publishing if it contradicts the numbers.
